I had a pdf, I suggest that you create a pdf of your document first using the pdf document option in the print dialog.

If you want to booklet print a small document as a one off and do not want to buy some software or the software doesn't work on your computer then the following worked for me.
#CREATE BOOKLET IN WORD FOR MAC 2011 HOW TO#
I don't have the option for "booklet printing" under page setup in Word, and I don't know how to set it up in pages, because I can't even find a way to make it landscape orientation! (Yes, the computer is plugged in.) The end result I want: A landscape-oriented, two-sided (I have duplex printing on my laser printer) document with 4 pages to a sheet (2 front, 2 back), than can be cut down the middle and bound on the resulting left side, just like a "regular" book. However, I'm finding this an impossible task. Pages often does things simply that Word fights tooth and nail, but I can't figure this one out.Īpparently, old versions of Word supported booklet printing, which would allow the document to be printed with 2 pages facing each other, then cut the pages down the middle (gutter) and bound. I can't figure out how to accomplish booklet printing in Word or Pages. Hopefully this helps other folks trying to do the same thing.ETA: I'm investigating suggestions here, unless someone has found a better solution.

At that point I did what everyone else would probably do: I complained on Facebook. I scoured the interwebs looking for an answer, I tried emailing different folks at Microsoft, and didn’t really have much luck. The usual steps of connecting to an external didn’t work (open up Finder, then Go > Connect to Server). One of the demos involves the Design Manager connecting to an SharePoint Online site in Office365.

As I was getting ready for the upcoming SharePoint Conference, I was preparing for the session I’m co-presenting with Randy Drisgill called Branding Internet facing web sites with SharePoint in the cloud (which you should come see!) I was running through some of the demos and realized that I should probably try to do them on my MBP. I’ve been running this setup since last summer but most days when I’m SharePointing I use my Windows desktop. Everyone seems to be singing the same praise for the Macbook Pros and perhaps surprisingly most that have made the switch are choosing to run in OSX as their primary operating system. There’s plenty of other folks in the SharePoint community that have been making a similar switch recently like Andrew Connell and Jeremy Thake and Sahil Malik.

These days my primary laptop is an Apple Macbook Pro 13″ - it is a pretty sweet piece of hardware.
